Unique Thinkers!
You know I was thinking about how amazing we as humans are. Then I thought about how our differences exhibit themselves in our individual body's. Some of us are right handed, others left, and still others can use either equally well, though they usually use one hand for some tasks and the other for others. We have a dominant leg, eye, ear. We have different hair color and texture, eye color and hue, even our faces have dominant and non dominant sides. We all know about the two hemispheres of our brain, but less of us are aware that there are an upper and lower (or limbic) section to each hemisphere. Every human has a preferred way to look at life's moments, encounters, and situations. These are associated with the different areas, or "quadrants" in our brain. Each of these areas has certain characteristics associated with it, and certain preferred ways of thinking go with each one. Upper lefts prefer information that is logical, analytical, fact based, and quantitative. Lower lefts prefer to think in an organized, sequential, planned, and detailed manner. Lower rights are known as interpersonal, feelings based, kinesthetic, and emotional. And Upper rights thinking can be perceived as holistic, intuitive, integrating, and synthesizing. Things really become individualistic though when you start adding in secondary dominant quadrants and degree of introversion or extroversion.
So when you take all these unique qualities of an individual you end up with a person that has their own unique thinking and learning style. I am as always fascinated at the magnitude of potential and growth that we as a species, and as individuals have for being Unique Thinkers! STRIVE ON!!
